New Beginnings, New Tasks
Graduating from college is often seen as a milestone filled with promise and excitement, but for many, it can also be a time of confusion and uncertainty. I recently met a young man named Ravi, who had just finished his degree. He was the type of man to always help, to always be seen, and well liked by his community. He had just finished his degree, eager to start the next chapter of his life. But instead of feeling confident, he felt lost—unsure about his future, overwhelmed by job applications, and uncertain of how to navigate the real world. With mounting pressure from family and friends, Ravi found himself paralyzed by indecision, feeling isolated in his struggles to make the right career choices.
That’s when Melooha became a guiding light for Ravi. By helping him organise his thoughts and feelings, Melooha gave him the clarity he needed to assess his strengths and ambitions. Ravi explained to me how in this age of uncertainty a man cannot predict what is to happen. Yet, a man needs to do the things required to live life. To work, to enjoy family, to make friends. But first, Ravi said, we all should find work. And finding work is hard. He needed direction, hope, and a positive light. He asked Melooha “Could I get a job?”
Job prospects this month are realistically tough every month. But, Ravi told me one sentence that created an impact.
“Job applications require resilience. I failed a couple hundred job applications. I succeeded once. Now I can work the job I earned!”
The world can be an oppressive land. But Ravi reminded me why we all pick ourselves up to work for another day. I hope Melooha can help all people further develop themselves, build new confidence, and find new opportunities. Going through the process of asking the questions that press your mind most, to getting recommendations & solutions, to enacting those changes in your life.
